Inspiration Friday No. 93….welcome!

Ummmm…is it actually the middle of December already?? Anyone else feel like the time is just flying by and you’re holding on for dear life? We can relate! Which is why we are so appreciative that you would take the time out during this busy season to join us here for Inspiration Friday!

And speaking of busy, here’s what has been happening around the Fence this week:

On Monday, Vanessa shared her Ribbon Banner Ornaments which are a simple way to add a little “Faith, Hope, Peace and Love” to your Christmas tree as well as some thoughts about “Being Blog Worthy”.

On Tuesday we shared a fabulous giveaway from Petticoat Junction of Miss Mustard Seed’s Inspired You book and there is still plenty of time to enter to win!

She also shared how to use Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint to make this darling NOEL sign!

Wednesday found Heather sharing her Metallic Sea Shell Christmas trees which she made using Krylon Metallic Spray Paint.

On Thursday, Heather shared An Open Letter to Fellow Bloggers over at The Greatest Gift Project and we want you to know that all of you are included in her sentiments.

Now, let’s take a look back at the features from last week’s party and then we are ready to see what you’ve all been up to this week!

INSPIRED ROOMS

Anne from White Lace Cottage shared her gorgeous French Charm Bedroom and we feel calm and relaxed just looking at the photos.

Kristen from Sophia’s Decor showed off her beautiful Rustic Great Room all dressed up for Christmas and we think it looks like the perfect place for family to gather and enjoy the season together!

 INSPIRED MAKEOVERS

Betsy from Betsy Speert’s Blog did a phenomenal job transforming this chest of drawers and it reminded us of just how talented she truly is!

Paul and Kathy from One Creative Couple gave an old table a new life and share a wonderful tutorial on how to create this “chalkboard” art effect.

Judy from DIY By Design is giving her basement quite the makeover! She recently created this focal wall using temporary wallpaper and we think the results are fabulous.

INSPIRED CRAFTS and CREATIONS

Amanda from The Ivy Cottage Blog shared her absolutely fantastic Holiday Brite Tree she made using vintage ornaments and an old screen door!

Sarah from Alderberry Hill shared these beautiful Glass Christmas trees she made and we just love how the light reflects off of the little glass gems.

Glass Trees Alderberry Hill 2 thumb Glass Christmas Trees, an updated re post from last Christmas

Kristi from I Should Be Mopping the Floor does a fun gallery wall each year to display all of her family’s Christmas cards from previous years. What a great way to celebrate all of life’s milestones!

INSPIRED TIPS, TRICKS and TUTORIALS

Chelsea from Making Home Base showed us how to make this darling Ruffled Christmas Tree Onesie which almost has us wishing we had some more babies in our family to make one for…almost!

We got 10 Tips for Saving Money on Gifts from the lovely Carolyn of Desire Empire. She also shared how she cleverly “covered” for Santa one year!

Debra from Common Ground admitted to being a Chalkboard Cheater but we think that her trick for making a “faux” chalkboard makes this kind of cheating ok in our book!

Samantha from Simply Organized showed us how to create a wonderfully organized Wrapping Station and it doesn’t hurt that it is super cute too!

 INSPIRED HOLIDAYS

This vintage inspired Hanukkah Decor from The Glamorous Housewife is simply stunning! We love the beachy elements that were added too.

Mary Ann from Classic Casual Home showed us how to create a stunning AND budget friendly holiday mantel using free pine cones, spray snow and fresh greenery.

Tricia from Simplicity in the South is living up to her blog name by creating this beautiful Christmas vignette that oozes simple Southern charm!

Yvonne from StoneGable showed us how to make these beautiful Snowflake Ornaments and we think her tree looks like a true winter wonderland.

Sherry from Living in the Garden made a darling Advent Pillow and gave fantastic step by step directions so that you can make one too!

INSPIRED RECIPES and PARTIES

We admit it. We feature Sue from Munchkin Munchies quite often. But, can you blame us? Take a look at these fabulous Elf on the Shelf Cookie Pops!

Sharon from Lilikoi Joy shared these Chocolate Candy Cane Cheesecake Bites and we know they would last all of half a day in either of our homes!

Over at the FOLK blog, Amy shared recipes for delicious Fireside Coffee and Homemade Marshmallows and all we can say is, “we’re coming over to join you Amy!”

 INSPIRED STORIES

Our very talented friend Anita from Far Above Rubies was recently on TV singing Oh Holy Night and we were reminded once more of  just how much we love this song…especially when sung by someone so special!

Aaron and Hilary from A Biblical Marriage shared 5 Creative Christmas Date Ideas and we love the reminder that it doesn’t have to cost a lot of money to enjoy quality time with your spouse.
