WELCOME TO OUR PARTY PAGE!
There are so many fabulous linky parties out there and we want to share them with you! Do you host a linky party that you would like to share with our readers? If so, feel free to link your party up under the appropriate day of the week.
How to link up your party:
- Use the html of your MAIN Blog (not a specific post) OR the Label Page of your party. This way our readers can click on your link and be directed to your main page and not an old party post.
- Locate your party button off of your page OR you can upload a square graphic off from your computer.
- Remember link graphics are square, so if your party button is not square crop it to fit nicely within the cropping square. We are making an email and name mandatory so that we can avoid spam links.
- Please include the name of your blog and then the party name. There is plenty of room to leave both.
- We only allow family friendly links to be shared on here and reserve to delete any links that we think are inappropriate for our blog page.

I am a newbie so I think I make LOTS of mistakes. I see you say to click on the MAIN BLOG header not the specific post. I believe that most of the parties want you to click on the specific post don't they? If not....then that is a mistake I've been making and won't help me grow my blog...for sure!! Oh my...can you tell me what is the correct method?

Good question! Normally for a linky party you do link up the specific post url but linking up your main url or blog ONLY applies to this specific link up on our party sharing page.
DeleteThis is only if you are sharing a party that you host and want people to be able to find it. :) NORMALLY if you're just sharing a project on someone's linky party (like Inspiration Friday) you DO link up the post url and not the main page. When sharing a project you want people to go to that post, when sharing a weekly party that you host you want people to go to your the main page of your blog. So you have been doing it correctly. I hope that makes sense? :)

ReplyDeleteGreat idea! It can be a challenge to promote a link party. I have a monthly link party that I'd love to list. Is it possible to add a category for "monthly" or "other" link parties?
