They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. And I can definitely see how this can be true when it comes to particular words in the English language. In that case though, beauty would be in the ear of the hearer right?
Some words just make me absolutely cringe. I would type them out but my fingers literally REFUSE to click those keys.
Other words are like music to my ears. Like the word ‘Decor’ and the word ‘Steals’. And when you put them together it’s like a beautiful melody!
I was so thrilled when Decor Steals asked me to be apart of their Design Ingenuity event and when I found out that I was partnered with one of my favorite blogger friends, Laura from Top This Top That, I was even more excited.
Each of us were sent this amazing Industrial Vintage Hardware Spinner and were challenged with putting our own personal ‘spin’ on it. Like how I did that there with the pun? 😉
The possibilities are endless with this awesome piece and I had so many ideas for how to fill up those little sections but in the end I decided to help welcome summer with this fun Make Your Own Cocktail Station.
Summer is all about easy, breezy and I’m-going-to-just-sit-here-while-you-make-it-yourself-pleasy.
Honestly, I think guests enjoy the relaxed vibe of making their own drinks and it keeps things much more casual.
Each compartment of the Hardware Spinner served a purpose.
Right down to having a place to tuck in some napkins.
Of course, if you are going to ask your guests to make their own drinks you should probably provide them with the recipes, right?
So how do you think you would fill up this awesome piece? I mean, isn’t your mind racing with the possibilities?
Check out what Laura did with hers! I absolutely love it all filled up with beautiful greenery and it makes an amazing centerpiece.
Now, guess what? At the Picket Fence readers get first dibs on this today!
Until 10am EST this is only available to YOU! So don’t wait, head over to Decor Steals now and get one for yourself. You know you want to!

Thanks so much for meeting me at the fence today,

So inviting! I’ll be right over! : )
Another fabulous way to use that awesome tiered spinning tray!….and love how you placed the recipe for the Mojito so that people can help themselves and make their own…
Bottoms up! What a super cute idea – extra applause for the chalkboard recipes. Jane
