Doesn’t that sound LOVELY! To be painted the colors of Spring.
Hello everyone, this is Angelina from JoJo and Eloise. Spring is Right around the corner and I couldn’t be happier. I am sure some of you wish, Spring was here YESTERDAY!! Spring is my most FAVORITE of ALL Seasons.Everything about it makes me LOVE it. New life, Perfect Temperatures, Family Vacations, Planting Gardens and Beautiful Colors. Just the thought of these things, makes me so HAPPY! So how about we do some simple Spring crafting/decorating.
I found these Glass Bud Vases at Michaels. With my handy coupon I paid just over $5.
I already have a BUCKET load of paints on hand, so there was no cost to me there.
There’s an easy trick I like to do, drop your Paint Bottles into your Glass Jars or Vases, this will help you get an idea of what colors you want to use. You can move them around and see if you like the Color Scheme.
Pour your paint inside your Glass Jar or Vase.
( Don’t miss the Vase like I did. This is what happens when your home alone and trying to man the camera and paint bottle)
I noticed that the FolkArt Paint is a little bit on the Thick side. It didn’t Roll around the Vase as easily as other paints, so I had to help it along with a paint brush. You don’t have to worry about brush marks, they won’t show on the outside. If you do see any, they are easily smoothed out. Just be sure to always check the outside of your glass Vase.
Now tell me, these Colors aren’t YUMMY!!!!
I know! You Can’t, Right!?!?
I am so absolutely in LOVE with my Spring Bud Vases. Just looking at them makes me HAPPY!!!
These are so Perfect for decorating around the house or for your outdoor Spring entertaining .
How about a Spring Wedding table scape or housewarming gift.
The possibilities and ideas for these ADORABLE vases are endless.
I just hope you’ll enjoy making them as much as I did.
So go ahead and welcome SPRING! Get out your paints, buy a new Vase or use an old one. And, get your SPRING crafting into Full Swing!

can you add water to these vases?
Hi Diane, I have never tried adding water. I don’t think it being on glass (the acrylic paint), it would hold up very well. ( for LONG periods of time ) Maybe for the day or special event, it would work great. ( I am going to try it out today and see how it goes, I will get back to you on that 🙂
OKAY!!!! Well I officially tried adding water to the Vase. I would have to say that adding water would NOT be recommended 😉 Unless you want a Lava Lamp looking Vase.. LOL!!!! I shared a picture on my Instagram here: https://instagram.com/p/lOKSTNhFMU/ xoxo
These are so lovely!
Those are gorgeous!!! I’m already mentally going through the inventory of my house to see what I can try this on. Haha!

I’d try water beads or bake the vase at low temp for coupla hours.
But I forgot to add they are simply gorgeous and gorgeous in their simplicity which is what Spring is, a simple breath of freshness!
These are so pretty Angelina!
