Selling our Kentucky Home…step inside our listing!

As you know I shared recently that our family will be relocating to the fabulous southern city of Atlanta! We are sad to be leaving behind our “Old (old being relative here) Kentucky Home” but excited about the new adventures ahead…and heck it’s a whole new house to decorate, who doesn’t love that?!
But first…we gotta get this baby…SOLD! And that’s not an easy thing in today’s housing market.  You have to get creative and come up with ways to bring those buyers to your door. I decided the pain ole’ MLS listing just wasn’t enough, so I created my own website for the house. I am a blogger after all, and that’s what we do best! Besides, you can’t just limit us to a few words in an MLS description when it comes to our homes, right? We need to share every little detail. 😉

Would you like to take a peek at my home? Do you know someone who might be interested in buying a house on almost 2 acres in the rolling hills of Kentucky? I invite you to take a tour of our home. The one with the remodeled downstairs where I completed DIY projects like my

Dining Room Makeover

My complete Kitchen Remodel
featured in Romantic Homes Magazine and Better Homes and Gardens

my recent Powder Room Reveal

19931750437
and my Staircase Makeover that I have yet to share.

and then there’s the “I didn’t get a chance to remodel every room before we have to move” Upstairs. I call it my split personality home. 😉

So..head through the front door

https://www.yourkentuckyhouse.blogspot.com/

you can see each area of my home by clicking on the tabs across the top, and then come back and let me know what you think! Be kind. 😉

PS…Don’t forget we have a great giveaway from Drop Cloth Designs still going on until Wednesday! You can win this fabulous Union Jack Drop Cloth Pillow!

I’m so excited for you about the move. Admit it, you just did it to be closer to me, right? Yeahhhh. I really do love your home, Heather. You had me at the winding driveway and beautiful outside, and it just got better from there. I can’t imagine this home not selling like a hot potato!

I am behind in reading so I need to go back and see the actual announcement. I knew that it was a strong possibility, and I’m selfishly glad that you’re coming.

Absolutely a beautiful home. I’m sure it will sell quickly. Great photos throughout. The only thing that I would add would be the total square footage of the home, I looked for it~maybe I missed it somewhere though. Or maybe it’s not a big deal in Kentucky but where I’m at that’s about the 2nd question when looking for a new home.
I went to the MLS listing and seen it broken down ft. by ft. Just thought I would mention that. Again, you have a beautiful home!

Gorgeous! Sign me up, I’m ready to move! Smart thinking to put up your own web site for your home. I have found that you can’t completely rely on the realtor to do it all and that taking initiative can sell your home faster and for more money! I’ve staged homes, made my own fliers with color photos and held my own open houses before! Good Luck with the sale and the exciting move! Hugs, Leena

I think a new move is exciting but I’m sure you will miss your home. How proud you must be of all the work you put into it and now somebody new will be able to enjoy it. I love living in Oregon, but I wish I could have homes all around the country so I could enjoy what each region has to offer. If I could – I’d buy yours in a heartbeat 🙂 Good luck!!

One of the things that is very important to us in Canada is knowing what comes with the house we are looking to purchase: appliances, light fixtures, window coverings, etc.. Don’t know if that is something you would want to list.
