Can you believe Valentine’s Day is just around the corner! Here’s a cute five minute craft tom our friend Maryann of Domestically Speaking! Be sure to stop by and pay her a visit!
Hi Guys! I’m Maryann from Domestically Speaking and I’m thrilled to be over here today sharing a quick Valentine’s Gift. We’ve got just over a month till V-Day… crazy! So let’s get on it…
Here’s the supplies you need:
- a mason jar (I went with the vintage blue variety)
- chalkboard vinyl
- red baker’s twine
- whatever you want to fill your jar with (love notes in this case)
I started by tracing a heart on my chalkboard vinyl and then cut it out. This is so much quicker than using chalkboard paint. I stuck my chalkboard vinyl heart on the front of the jar, but you could place it on top if you liked.
Then I cut a piece of red baker’s twine, approximately 20 inches long and tied it around the neck of the jar.
I filled my jar with pieces of paper with little notes of things I love about my Hubster. You could fill it with a favorite candy or other small items.
I add “Notes” to my heart.
And there you have it friends… a quick and easy Valentine’s gift idea.
