Oregonians and Earth Day go together like…well…Oregonians and flannels. Or Oregonians and Tevas. Or Oregonians and flannels with Tevas. Or Oregonians and flannels with Tevas and a hemp skirt.
As an Oregonian, I live among an abundance of trees…and tree-huggers. While driving home from Arizona over Spring Break, we were literally in awe as we moved from the desolate landscape of the desert to the lush landscape of the Pacific NW. And we realized just how much we take it for granted.
Living here I am reminded of just how incredible this Earth really is.
And how thankful I am to the ONE responsible for it’s creation.
This is what Earth Day means to me.
