Lately I’ve been having a lot of what I refer to as ‘Twilight Zone’ moments. I’m pretty sure it was just Christmas and yet here I am today sharing Easter Recipes and Table Decorating Ideas with you. How did that happen?
My 12 year old keeps feeling the need to rub it in that since I’ve turned 40 all of my faculties must be failing. I pretend to be super indignant about this because honestly it’s become a funny bonding experience for us in a strange sort of way. He teases me about getting older and I act all outraged and then he laughs hysterically. I told my husband that being mocked about my age was a small price to pay for having those moments with my boy.
But, the truth is, there is something to the fact that the older we get the faster time seems to go. I never fully understood this until these past few years when I feel like everything is happening at warp speed and I’m just holding on for dear life.
And I’ve realized that I can either moan and groan about it or I can choose to embrace and celebrate it. So today, even though I’m quite certain that I was just taking down my Christmas tree, I’m celebrating the fact that Easter is less than two weeks away and I’ve pulled together some very lovely ideas for you.

What fun features I love the little cucumber sandwiches, but there are so many things I like. The rice crispy treat are the best, how fun for the little ones.
