Hey guys! It is so boiling hot over here at redheadcandecorate.com (88 degrees) that I am wearing flip flops today, and my air conditioning bill is higher than it was in July. Isn’t that crazy? I guess I’m not really complaining, but it does feel odd when I do a little Fall decorating. Our porch this year is all about “being cozy” and boy we are definitely cozy up here in Michigan this year 😯 . So, to cool us off, and hopefully put us all in the mood for Fall, I ventured out in beautiful blog land and collected “6 Gorgeous Fall Tours (you will love)”…
Last year at this time I was in a state of “autumn blogging euphoria” because our Fall decorated home was featured in Cottages and Bungalow’s magazine. It was a very exciting time for our family and I will always cherish the experience and memories we made putting this tour together. It was a family affair where I did the styling (photographers came to the house) and my husband and kiddos assisted with all of it. At one point we had to go out into a snow storm for caramel apples. I think the kids will remember how crazy their Mom was looking back on it. At least I hope so.
This next tour caught my eye because of the brown bottles. I adore brown bottles and they really seem to fit in nicely in all Fall decor. Funny thing is though, I don’t have any. How about you? I need to find some.
Wait until you see Laura’s kitchen below all spruced up for Fall. Adding a little glam factor with a chrome or silver pumpkin up against a classic white subway tile makes me happy. There are a ton more photos and inspirations.

#4 is all about those books. Have you noticed thrift stores carry millions of books? I bet you may even have a few stored away right now just waiting to be used in home decor. Kim really know’s how to use books in ways I have never thought of. Check out that crib mattress spring…
Here’s another favorite of mine from Chatfield Court. Her kitchen is so cozy, but wait until you see her front porch. I could sit there all day drinking tea reading her blog.
And lastly, my friend Heather has a wonderful sense of humor, and it shows it in this not-so-perfect Fall Home Tour. She actually shows her dusty furniture and I got a huge kick out of that.
I hope you enjoyed the Fall tours as much as I did. Happy Fall to all from the redhead and I hope you can join me for my tour this year coming up on October 5 where I decorated our front porch. You can subscribe here so you don’t miss it, or you could try-out my new Facebook “DIY Home Decorating & Cooking Group”. It’s a friendly place were you can ask opinions and share your own photos or view others. It’s growing quite quickly!
