It’s one thing to be the prettiest home on the block…it’s another to be the prettiest and the smartest!
I was so excited when I was recently invited up to the fabulous city of Nashville, for a blogger sneak peek tour the newest HGTV HOME and this one is a “smarty pants!”
A fully furnished English-cottage design, built by Carbine and Associates and located in Duncanwood Reserve in the desirable Green Hills area of Nashville, TN; this home features some of the most high-tech amenities and eco-friendly materials out there!
Those high-tech features greet you the moment you walk in the door! The dining room/office combination, painted Antique Red by Sherwin Williams, features a television that lowers into a gorgeous sideboard. For dining you can discreetly tuck the TV away to reveal a set of four beautiful prints by photographer Gary Giles. When you want to use this room for an office you can raise the TV for entertainment.
Blue and navy abounds in the great room and kitchen, as well as several other common areas!
There is so much attention to detail, like these nail head chests flanking the fireplace.
We were all admiring the wood paint washed column and visions of DIY projects were dancing in our heads!
This dramatic rustic chandelier, from Restoration Hardware was perfectly highlighted against the soaring planked ceiling!
Who wouldn’t love this set-up in the kitchen!
These beautiful custom cabinets, in Indigo Batik by Sherwin Williams, contained a built in TV as well as coffee station!
The wood stained island, also serves as the “kitchen table” as well as a baking station which definitely fits the bill for multi-function.
All of the appliances are state of the art and environmentally friendly.
I was coveting the pot filler over the stove!
Even the pets get the royal treatment in this home!
The Master Bedroom and en-suite bathroom takes “smart” to a whole other level! With blinds, state of the art mattress and bathroom features all attached to a bedside devise, one can control everything with a touch of a fingertip!
I think we were all in awe of how far technology, for the home, has come!
I mean, seriously, who wouldn’t like a TV in their shower?!
The second floor was just as amazing as the main floor with it’s bright and cheerful guest bedroom.
The tile work in the guest bath was dramatic and elegant.
As well as a super fun kid’s room, complete with an extra built-in bed!
How fabulous is this striped and wood accent wall?!
The basement boasts 800 square feet of pure fun!
It contains a media area, a stage for all those Nashville Star hopefuls and a fully equipped gym.
We loved learning how all of the technology for the home can be run from an iPad or tablet devise!

The best time to post the photos is one to two hours before other users
connect to intagram. Obviously, all of them are facing a very long
battle in court, but based on their previous statements, they are all ready to fight until
the end. So why do ink jet prints not get me excited about photography.
If you like to talk, you’d better sign up to this
social website. The traditional digital photographs that otherwise look pale and daunted that would
not get a more modernized look even with the years to come.
Thank you for the tour, and you look Beautiful!
Thank you so much for sharing! I have so many ideas now…the basement ceiling, the kitchen cabinet paint…I could go on!
Wow, what a beautiful home! But… a tv in the shower sounds a little dangerous to me. Around here, everyone would be scheduling “shower-time” around their favorite shows, and showers would last at least 1/2 hour! LOL
What an amazing visit you had… of an amazing home. I’ve always wanted to live in the south so I’m off to find out how to enter the sweepstakes! I see so many loved and familiar faces! Hope to see everyone at Haven! xo
