Angelina from JoJo and Eloise is back with us today sharing a simple, sweet and easy craft as part of our ongoing Take 5: 5 Minute Crafts Series!
Hello Picket Fence Family, this is Angelina from JoJo and Eloise.
It is always such a pleasure to stop in and visit with you. With Valentines quickly approaching ( which I SERIOUSLY can’t believe ) I thought I would share a Really simple and Really quick craft with you.
We’re talking like, 5 minute craft here people!
One of the things I LOVE about crafting, is that you can take just about anything and make it into Something fabulous and fun.
Today I am going to show you how to transform your everyday, Grocery Bag into a simple and fun craft.
I am using Craft Punches, that I purchased at Michaels and JoAnns. However, PLEASE! Don’t fear if you don’t have any of these on hand. You can just hand draw your shapes, directly onto your bag, then cut them out. Remember! Crafting isn’t about Perfection, it’s about creating memories and simply just having fun.
Pick out your Craft Punch and slide the Paper Bag inside and punch away.
Simple as that.
Pull out whatever crafting supplies or embellishments you have on hand, and have fun. Today I am using, some of those Fun Party Straws to craft with.
I have 2 different size, Heart Shape Punches. I used the larger size for my Paper Straws.
Fold your Heart in half, then make 2 small slits on the top and bottom. Take your Straw or even Pencils, and slide them through your slits.
AND!!!
Your done, Seriously that simple folks. These Recycled ,Paper Bag Hearts, have endless possibilities. You can use them as tags for gifts, put little notes on them and place them in your Kiddos lunch boxes, turn them into Garland and the list goes on and on.
So have some fun this Valentines Day ( or any day, really ) by gathering up those Paper Bags and making something fun.
5 minutes is REALLY all it takes!
You can also use these HEARTS for other crafting projects. I used them to decorate these, Old Fashioned, Inspired Treat Bags.
