We believe we have some of the most fabulous sponsors! Each one of them has their own unique style, creativity and products! Each time we are contacted by an Etsy shop or online business we are always amazed at what they have to offer…and since today is Small Business Saturday we want to share some of their products with you!
What is Small Business Saturday you ask?
Well, it’s a way to offer support to the small businesses located in our communities or on the web like can be found at Etsy.com. When you are doing your holiday shopping this year we’d love you to consider visiting some of our sponsors who are all women just like you and us…who can paint, sew, design and create like no one’s business! Here are some of our favorite picks from their stores!
One of our newest sponsors here At The Picket Fence is Ruby Jean’s. We love this gorgeous white and red ruffled apron!
Ruby Jean’s Linen Farmhouse Aprons would be a perfect gift for the cook or “hostess with the mostess” in your life!
We also recently welcomed Ambivalent Relics as a sponsor! She creates the most amazing vintage and steampunk jewelry and accessories. This piece caught our eye!
“Gone but Not Forgotten” is an antique repurposed clock Face and pearl steampunk necklace. All of her pieces are perfect for the vintage jewelry lover, and they are one of a kind!
Our other newest sponsor is Vintage Lancaster. Her store is FULL of amazing vintage items! So many in fact, it’s hard to narrow down one to show! But, we personally love these vintage boxes.
They are so perfect for storage and holiday decorating! Vintage Lancaster has many more like these as well as so many others. Visit her store and browse to find the perfect item for that nostalgic person on your shopping list!
We’ve shared with you before some of the amazing items you can find at The Old Block House! They have recently added these adorable handcrafted fabric Christmas garlands!
They are so sweet and vintage-y and would be perfect for a farmhouse tree or to holiday up a kitchen! They come in 5 ft lengths but can be custom ordered to whatever size you need!
Our dear friend Ann over at Sutton Place Designs is getting her shop ready for Christmas as well! She recently added these gorgeous holiday pillows to her collection.
What a great way to add some Christmas cheer to your sofa or window seat! She has several with different embroidered words and phrases as well as beautiful stockings!
Cottage in the Oaks is getting dressed up for the holidays as well. The shop is decked out with some adorable vintage ticking banners like this one
We love the contrasting yellow and red and white stripped ticking! This would be precious strung across a shelf in the kitchen or across the window of a child’s room! So cute!
Curly Willow Collections has such an amazing assortment of beautiful handmade items! We KNOW how popular these cowls are this year and most of us are not talented enough to just whip one up on our own…at least we know “WE” are not that talented!
But not worries, you can purchase one from these amazing ladies!
Both teens and adults love these and what a unique gift to give for the holidays! They have several styles to choose from as well as adorable stocking caps and many other items!
Redbird Cottage Arts has the most gorgeous nature inspired watercolors! We love these amazing hand painted Christmas cards!
They not only are a great way to send holiday greetings, but they are art! The recipient can frame them to enjoy for years to come. Heather is also holding out for someone in her life to buy her this gorgeous Bird and Basket watercolor…any takers? anyone? hello?
For unique holiday decorating you can turn to the The Simple Stencil! We’ve shared with you’re their amazing wall art before.
They have SO many for the holidays, and even have gift certificates available!
You may have recently entered the giveaway we hosted for Rhett Didn’t Give a Damn…even if you didn’t win the amazing vintage silver teapot there are still gorgeous items for sale in the store!
How amazing would this silver footed serving dish look on your table for the holidays?!
Our friends over at Unexpected Elegance are taking a short holiday break, but be sure to stop back by for some amazing and unique items!
And last but certainly not least we have our lovely sponsor 20NorthOra! We know you all love burlap as much as we do, and these burlap stocking are just beautiful!
Who knew humble burlap and muslin could be made so fabulous! A set of these would be perfect on your mantel for a vintage Christmas! We also want to announce that 20northora will be sponsoring a giveaway here At The Picket Fence later this week, so stay tuned!
Many of these lovely shops as well as others over at Etsy.com are offering some great discounts in celebration of the kick off of the holiday season! Please consider supporting these small businesses as well as those in your community! You will find unique one of a kind gifts as well as encouraging the entrepreneurial dreams of women just like you!
