Are you ready for another fantastic 5 Minute Craft?
We’re so thrilled to welcome the wonderful Kristin from My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia here today. Kristin is truly one of our most cherished friends and we think she is pretty fantastic. And we know you are going to love the project she is sharing with us as part of our Take 5: 5 Minute Crafts Series!
Hi Everyone, I am Kristin and I blog over at My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia. I feel so honored to be here today. I have long been fans of Heather and Vanessa and was extremely fortunate to finally meet up with Vanessa last month when she was visiting San Diego. She’s the real deal; warm, friendly, funny, sincere and beautiful inside and out!
Today’s craft is simple, fun and easy and costs almost nothing, DIY Snowballs!
~Supplies~
Scissors
Yarn that is fluffy and plush
Simply add a dab of hot glue onto the ball and secure the yarn. Add a few more dabs of hot glue around the ball and start wrapping the yarn around. There is no right or wrong way, just keep going until the whole ball is covered in yarn and you are happy with the way it looks. When you are finished secure the end piece of yarn with one more dab of hot glue.
That is it, easiest project I have ever made, in fact I made a bunch of them.
They will be perfect for the holidays displayed in a crystal bowl or part of a centerpiece, you could even make them into tree decorations.
The possibilities are really endless.
These were so fun to make, I even created little mini snowballs to embellish gifts.
You won’t believe what I used for the inside, you can find out here.
A huge thanks to Heather and Vanessa for having me today, this has been so much fun!
Stop in and say hi anytime and you can find out a little more about me over at our home tour.
Thank you so much to Kristin for sharing this fun project with us today. We know these will be making an appearance at our homes this year too!
