Hello Picket Fencers this is Angelina from JoJo and Eloise. I am so excited to be here again sharing some Summer Fun with you.
Summer was always my favorite time of year when I was a kid, as I am sure I am not alone in this. It meant time away from school, family vacations, staying up late and sleeping in. All of which I would LOVE to do on a daily basis, even still today.
However some things have changed as I’ve gotten older.
Like SADLY realizing that SUGAR is not my BFF ( though I wish it was ).
For about 9yrs now our family has been eating an Organic lifestyle, we have just recently gone Gluten and Grain Free as well.
I LOVE that our kids are very conscientious about their Health and the foods that they choose to eat.
However getting there wasn’t easy. It took a lot of teaching and playing around with different ingredients and recipes but I am thankful we had willing participants.
Now!!! Our Kids are the ones more on top of it then even my Husband and I. ( Seriously )
One of our kids favorite things to make is, POPSICLES!! They LOVE using all natural fresh ingredients and coming up with new ways to make things exciting.
But what they LOVE best is, knowing what ingredients are inside their popsicles.
Making Homemade Popsicles doesn’t have to be FANCY and you certainly don’t need a SPECIAL machine or gadget. We picked up some Super Cute, Classic Popsicle molds at JoAnn’s, you could even use Dixie Cups with a good old fashioned Popsicle Stick.
We find that Watermelon provides the PERFECT fruit and juice to fill our molds with.
Using Fruit that is in Season is always best. It not only is more plentiful but also less expensive. We often times pre-cut our fruit into bite size pieces and freeze them for snacks or to add into our popsicles molds at a later date.
We LOVE using the Seeded watermelons.. Our kids think they look OLD FASHIONED.LOL!!! Who would of ever thought a Seeded Watermelon would be considered Old Fashioned.
Popsicle making tends to get a little bit messy in our house.. But the kids LOVE it and they have so much fun being in charge of making their treats.
Homemade Popsicles really are so very easy and simple to make.
And the BEST thing of all…
There…
You can also check out a few more of our Favorite Popsicle flavors, over like our Avocado, Blueberry and Coconut popsicles…

Oh my these girls are adorable!!! And they are quite the little professionals!!!! Thanks for the great popcicle idea. I’d serve these to adults too… but maybe add a little something stronger first! YUMMY!
Thank you Yvonne, for your Sweet comment and these would make a FANTASTIC treat for adults too 🙂
Angelina! The popsciles sound so yummy and my kids are absolutely popsicle crazy these days so this is perfect timing! I’ve been weeding out a lot of gluten in my diet and even some dairy too and definitely feel better. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful photos (and your beautiful kiddos!) with us here!
Vanessa
Thank you so much Vanessa. It is Amazing how much better you feel when you cut those things out. We also don’t use any refined Sugars (even Organic ones) we Sweeten everything with Honey and Occasionally Organic Maple Syrup. Thank you again for having me 🙂
Oh wow so cute! Love the pics
Thank you so much Jessica. 🙂
